My Six Word Memoir....

My friend Jaderocks from Country Love has tagged me to come up with a six word memoir about myself, so here goes:

"I'm not perfect, just forgiven. Forever."

When I think about all the mistakes I've made down through my life and things I've done that I'm so ashamed of, I'm glad I have a Savior who looked beyond my faults and saw my need.
Thanks for asking, Jaderocks!

I had a very special visitor at my house yesterday.....

This is the first one I've seen this year. It came buzzing around the barn yesterday afternoon, so I ran to the house and mixed up some nectar, grabbed my camera, and waited. Sure enough, it wasn't long before it found the feeder. I'm glad the camera was ready- they sure are fast!

  1. Ok too fast I was writing and ended up deleting my comment! I say Amen and hooray to your memoir - forgiveness is the most amazing gift. Love the hummingbird visitor - my sweet mama loved her hummingbirds and even handraised one with an eyedropper and infinite patience.

  2. Nothing more wonderful than forgiveness!

Aren't those little hummers just the greatest????? I can watch them forever, it seems. Great picture!

  3. Great six-worder!!

And I love that picture! I filled our hummingbird feeder up last week and it's now empty but I haven't SEEN any yet. Hmm...

  4. Is it time for those little guys already? I've got to get busy preparing for them! That's a great picture.
I love your memoir...what a precious gift forgiveness is.
I enjoy dropping by Fraker Farm in the always make me smile!
    Blessings and hugs,

  5. What a wonderful memoir. You sure got a great picture of the hummingbird. When I finally see a hummingbird at the feeder. As soon as I go to get the camera.... zip..... they are gone.

  6. Beautiful picture, and thoughtful words.

  7. Oh Paula hon, I could give you a big old hug!! Thanks for the wonderful comments on my wasn't long it was beautiful!!! Wish we could sit and have tea and talk!! I love you 6 word description...

  8. We got our first hummingbird last week and now there are 3 fussing over the feeder. I could spend an afternoon watching their antics. Wasn't God especially creative when he fashioned these little cuties?

Love that 6 word description. Praise the Lord for His forgiveness!

    Smiles & friendship,

  9. I have a hummer feeder right out the window here by the pc. I love to watch them. Your photo is great!
And your memoir-thought provoking. Bless the Lord for his forgiving ways...We all need forgiveness.

  10. where would we be without the word forgiveness? What a wonderful picture! blessings, Kathleen

  11. Great picture! You caught the wing span and all. I try but seem to never succeed.
