I wish we lived near a good place to buy fresh apples. Have to make do with what&#39;s available at the local grocery stores, and they never seem to have a lot of flavor. I dried 3 large golden delicious apples yesterday. Nothing is left to show for my efforts today, but they sure did taste good.
