My wish...

This will probably be my last post until after Christmas-
Hubby is having surgery this week to repair a herniated disc in his back
and we will be spending a quiet holiday at home while he recuperates.

In between taking care of everything
(and everyone) around here, I will still be visiting my blog friends ....
My wish for all who reads this is that you have the most wonderful Christmas ever,
with plenty of joy and laughter and time spent with the ones you love.

"And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you:
ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."

Much prayers are going out for your hubby, you and medical team that will be taking care of him. I pray the surgery will be swift and he will be out of pain and back on his feet very soon. Wish I was there, I would help take care of the farm while you tend to his needs.

GOD keep you strong in faith and in strength.

What a lovey picture on the red tractor. My husband had that surgery YEARS ago, when they cut you open. Now it is much less invasive. Not something anyone wants, but I just know he will be fine and rid of that pain! God bless you both this Christmas and thank you for your posts all year long. They bring more smiles than you will ever know!

Dearest Paula,

I had a herniated disc and 2 bulging discs in 2009. I know what your husband must be suffering. I will have you on the top of my prayer list throughout the Christmas season until you return to cyberspace.

I will use the picture of the two of you on the tractor as my image for your husband's healing.

Until next year, God's richest blessings on you this Christmas and throughout the New Year,
Dawn

Gah! Sorry to hear about your husband's surgery... but it sounds like a perfect excuse to relax at home! And with the pain medication he'll be on, maybe he'll be entertaining.
