I realize your picture is sunSET but I think of the old hymn"

"When morning gilds the skies my heart awaking cries:
May Jesus Christ be praised!
Alike at work and prayer, to Jesus I repair:
May Jesus Christ be praised!"
yes ma'am - gilded skies really do lift our hearts - lovely picture. Great minds DO think alike at least in sky terms.

Hey Paula, those same clouds came my way.
We did have rain. 2 1/2 inches. I am so thankful.
Have a great day!

A picture IS worth a thousand words. It teaches us to never take thesethings for granted. Beauty surrounds us in ways we don't even notice....We are all blessed....

What a gorgeous sunset! I was thinking the other night, as I was trying in vain to peer over the treetops of our neighborhood to see the sunset, that if ever we move, it's going to be someplace where I can 'see' the sun set each night.

Yes!! We are looking at the same sky!! :)

Don't you just love those skies like that? There's something about seeing that . . . it is wordless! Only God can paint a sky like that!!!! Just lovely!

Hi Paula, I came to your blog to see what you have posted to make me laugh tonight and instead you made me stop and think how great God is and how thankful I am for being able to see another sunset.
